“Let Us Never Forget “

The Scholarship fund was founded in 2006 to commemorate and the date SSGT Matt Maupin went missing in Iraq.

The Maupin Family and the Yellow Ribbon Support Center hosted the ” April 9th, Let Us Never Forget Scholarship Dinner” as a way to ensure the Fallen Heroes from the Cincinnati Area would not be forgotten.

The scholarships are given in the name of the Fallen Hero to a high school or college chosen by the family of the Fallen Hero.

The scholarships are awarded by the family or school.

In 2008 the “Let Us Never Forget” expanded our offering to include a Fallen Hero from each state in addition to the local Fallen Heroes.

In 2008 we provided over 100 scholarships.  We currently have plans for 103 scholarships in 2009.

Please join us on April 9th at the Oasis Conference and Convention Center.  This is our primary fundraiser for the scholarship fund.
