Just a taste of what will be auctioned of at April 9th,Let Us Never Forget Scholarship Fundraiser. We now have a beautiful Fender Bass Guitar made possible by Tom Sallee & Gary Donavan of the Guitar Center of Indiana. This will be sign by Bootsy Collins and the perfomers the night of the event.

We also have” shop till you drop,” we are collecting gift cards from local stores, we will put them all together for a shopping trip.

We have “Dine at Texas Road House in Milford, OH” for fifty two weeks,valued at

30 dollars a week, for a total of $1560.00.

We have two signed newly released books by Bernard Cornwell. Priceless

What is “Let Us Never Forget”?
“Let Us Never Forget” is a scholarship fund founded in 2006 to commemorate fallen service members from the Cincinnati, OH area. The program was expanded in 2008 to include all states. To date they have given over $239,000 in scholarships to the schools the fallen attended!

The “Let Us Never Forget” Primary Fundraiser Event takesplace on Friday, April 9th, 2010, in Loveland, OH (about 15 miles north of downtown Cincinnati). A variety of people and organizations are donating time,

resources and money for this event, to include:

the Hepcats; swing dancers from Lexington and Cincinnati;

Blair Carman and the Belleview Boys; Oasis Conference Center;

and local Cincinnati area television, radio and sports personalities.

Mike & Mary were asked to coordinate the entertainment – and we are very proud and excited to be a part of this year’s event! As some of you may know, Mike & Mary’s oldest son is currently serving in Afghanistan with the US Army’s 82d Airborne Division.

Lexington/central Kentucky area swing dancers are invitedto this event. They’ll be dinner, silent auction items, and lots of dancing to the great music of Blair Carman and the Belleview Boys;

plus the satisfaction of contributing to a great cause!

“Let Us Never Forget” scholarship event in April

UNION TWP. (Fox 19) — Plans are underway for the “Let us never forget” scholarship fundraiser.

It raises money for scholarships in honor of tri-state military killed in action. Students from high schools around the tri-state benefit from the fund.

The dinner is April 9 at Oasis Conference Center in Loveland. It includes a silent auction and dancing.

Event organizer, June Izzi-Bailey, said all the work is worth it to honor the families by helping others further their education.

“We put on these events because we feel fallen heroes are never to be forgotten and this is a way we can show parents that and parents join us to remember their loved ones,” Izzi-Bailey said.

Some of the auction items include a fiddle signed by Charlie Daniels, dinner for two every week for a year and a shopping spree.

Tickets are $50 per person. You must RSVP by March 20.

For the past four years, we have awarded “Let Us Never Forget” scholarships to the schools of the Fallen Heroes all across the United States. This year we will offer 57 scholarships to qualified Senior student recipients at local schools and 50 scholarships to out-of-state qualified Senior student recipients. These scholarships honor and pay respect to over 5,000 American heroes who have answered our nation’s call to serve and who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and for the liberation of others.

We need your help to make this fundraising event a huge success. Here’s what you can do:

We ask that you please consider a corporate sponsorship, with a minimum donation of $2,000. With this generous donation of $2,000 or more, you would receive a table reserved for ten people at the April 9^th fundraiser at the Oasis Conference Center, in Loveland, Ohio. Your corporate advertisement will be prominently displayed in the main room. In addition, your name will appear in our program and on our website. If corporate sponsorship is not possible at this time, please consider the following:

Participate in our ”shop till you drop” auction by donating gift cards or certificates. Our goal is $2,000 worth of cards to be packaged in various denominations from various establishments.
Participate in our “Dining for Two in 2010″ by donating gift cards or gift certificates. Again, our goal is to collect $2,000 worth of cards from restaurants to be packaged into auction items.
Make a donation of $50 (per seat) so that a Gold Star parent or a wounded soldier may attend this event without personal cost. A Gold Star parent is a mother or father who lost a son or daughter to death in combat. We have 57 Gold Star families!
Donate items that we may bundle or package into gift baskets, or gift baskets for our silent auction.
Attend the event! Buy tickets at $50 per seat, or $600 per table of ten (to include sponsor name on table).
Make donation in any amount.

Please help us make this event a big success! With your help we can do it! Let’s keep the memory of our fallen heroes alive by offering scholarships in their name and honor, and above all, Let Us Never Forget!

We are getting ready for the big event that will, make it possible to grant the scholarships to our 57 Tri State Fallen Heroes and the 50 young men and women across the USA who made the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Keith Maupin refuses to let anyone forget these Heroes,we are asking you to help make this a success another year.To date we have given over $239,000 in scholarship to seniors across the USA.
